Privacy statement

What data we process

We only process data you provide to us yourself, or that is needed to keep the website running:

• Appointment form: your name, phone number, email address, your preferred date and time, and what you tell us about your project, such as the project type and an indicative budget.
• Direct contact: if you call, email or message us, we process the details you share with us.
• Technical data: our hosting provider briefly processes IP addresses in server logs to keep the website secure and available, and compiles anonymous visitor statistics (visitor and page-view counts, without cookies and without individual profiles).
• Advertising cookies: only if you accept them via the cookie banner — see the cookie statement.

What we use your data for

We use your data only for the following purposes:

• To answer your request and prepare an appointment or quote (necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To keep the website secure and available (legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• To measure and show our ads on social media — only with your consent via the cookie banner (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw that consent at any time.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data no longer than necessary. Requests and quote correspondence are kept for up to two years after our last contact, so we can help you properly with a follow-up question. If you become a customer, we keep invoices and records for seven years, as required by Dutch tax law.

Who we share your data with

We never sell your data. We only share it with service providers (processors) needed to run the website and our mailbox:

• Vercel — website hosting.
• Resend — delivery of the appointment form and the confirmation emails.
• Neon — database storing appointment requests and booked time slots.
• Google Workspace — our business email (info@mebokeukens.nl).

If you accept advertising cookies, the ad platforms Meta, TikTok, Google and Pinterest also receive data about your visit. The cookie statement explains which cookies these are and how to change your choice.

Transfers outside the EEA

Some of these providers process data in the United States. This happens on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• see which data we hold about you;
• have incorrect data corrected;
• have your data deleted;
• have processing restricted, or object to it;
• receive your data in a portable format (data portability);
• withdraw consent you have given at any time, for example via the cookie settings at the bottom of the page.

Send your request to info@mebokeukens.nl; we respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes

We may update this privacy statement, for example when we start using new services. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the latest change at the top.
